Vivienne Westwood is back with one of the most visible campaigns that stand for radical change. The Autumn Winter 18/19 Vivienne Westwood collection challenges the theme of war and strengthens the rebellious attitude that is one of the brand´s core value.
This collection is meant to bring people together. “Don’t get killed” (the name of the campaign) is a form of using fashion as a vehicle to stop climate change and mass extinction. She gathered ¨an army¨ of millennials with a punk rock attitude that spread the message of solidarity.
The clothes support the military theme of the collection and follow the message of radical change by using environmentally friendly wool, camouflage for her army of activists, sustainable hemp and unisex items with the message “buy less, choose well, make it last” with is already famous.
What a great way of using creativity to save the world.
As Viv says: “The best thing I’ve ever written is Buy Less, Choose Well, Make it Last’.”
